From placing an order to mastering the art of cooking our delicious frozen dumplings, steamed buns, and scallion pancakes, we’ve compiled a list of frequently asked questions to address all your queries and ensure that you have everything you need to create a memorable dining experience with our products.

  • The website will be open on the first week of the month or until items sell out, for pre-order to pick up for the last week of the month.
  • You will be able to put the items on the cart, pay for your order, and then you will have the option to choose the date & time you will pick up your order on the last week of the month at our location in Lyndon.

Dumplings & Steamed Buns **Make sure to not defrost!**

  • In a large wok or pan, bring 2-3 inches of water to a rolling boil.
  • Place dumplings in a lined steamer basket (with parchment paper).
  • Make sure to leave a 1 inch gap (2 inches for steamed buns) between dumplings/ steamed buns.
  • Steam dumplings for 11 minutes for dumplings, (until internal temp. reaches 165°F).
  • Rest dumplings for 1 minute with lid on.
  • After 1 minute, remove the lid and rest for an additional minute.

For Steamed Buns

  • Cook for about 14-15 minutes then turn off the heat.
  • Let rest with lid on for 5 minutes before removing the lid.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Serve with the dumpling sauce and chili oil!

Scallion Pancakes

  • Let the frozen pancakes thaw for 10 minutes until it is pliable.
  • Heat a 9” (23 cm) cast iron pan (or a nonstick skillet) over medium-high heat and add enough oil to fully coat the bottom.
  • Once the oil is hot, add a pancake.
  • Use a spatula to swirl the pancake around to spread the oil and prevent sticking, for a few seconds.
  • Cover the pan and turn the heat down to medium. Let the pancake cook, covered, for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Flip the pancake, cover, and cook for another minute.
  • Use a spatula to press the pancake, to ensure even browning.
  • Continue to cook, flipping regularly, until both sides are crisp and browned, about 3 minutes.
  • Turn to medium-low heat if the pan gets too hot.
  • Transfer the pancake to a cooling rack or a cutting board to cool.
  • Repeat to cook all the pancakes you plan to serve.
  • Once the pancakes are slightly cooled enough to handle, cut into 6 pieces and transfer to a serving platter.
  • Serve hot and sprinkle some salt as a finishing touch.

Every item sold is properly and individually frozen.

  • It is advisable to bring a cooler with an ample amount of ice packs when picking up your order.
  • Once you arrive back to your destination, it is crucial to immediately place the items in your freezer to not affect the quality of the items.
  • Due to the nature of the products, once the items are picked up, we are not held responsible or liable for your item once you leave our premises.
  • The products are good for up to 3 months in the freezer.
  • Each item in the store is all individually handcrafted by Jin, so only a certain amount per month is sold and once it’s sold out, it’s gone for the month!
  • There won’t be a waitlist, however, the option for customers to backorder for next month is available.
  • As demand grows, we will increase the frequency of ordering the products from once a month to every two weeks.
  • We will have random promotions from time to time which we will post on our monthly newsletter or on our private Facebook group!
  • Each coupon is limited to one per customer.

Currently, the products are only sold online, but we’re hoping to expand to local stores and food co-ops all over Vermont in the future!

  • There are a variety of different products including gluten free dumplings, sauces, and chili oil.
  • However, it is not made in a gluten free facility since we also sell items that have gluten in them.
  • Extra precautions are taken to make sure to follow guidelines and protocols to accommodate customers with gluten restrictions.
